Dear Nitisha,

Though I have not heard from you an overly long period of time, I keep track of you, thanks to Sourav and Srijina. I am disheartened to learn that you continue to lead a carefree life even though the overwhelming tide of COVID – 19 has swept us off our feet. When the disease has left a deep scar on our normal life, I wonder how you can remain indifferent to health issues. Remain wakeful about the lethal virus. If you listen to my words of advice, keep a mask and sanitizer handy.  Frequent handwash will enable you to stay fit as a fiddle in this new normal world. Keep away from crowds and maintain physical distance with utmost care.

I understand that these precautions may seem inconvenient, but they are necessary to protect ourselves and those around us. The more we follow these rules, the sooner we can defeat the virus and return to normal life. More when we meet.

Stay safe and healthy, my friend.

With love,

Your loving friend,

Mita
