Sub. : Ban on plastic carry bags

Sir/Madam,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily I want to inform you that the usage of plastic carry bags have increased tremendously and there are various harmful consequences. As plastic do not decompose, the ones dumped into the drains choke the sewage system completely. Due to this reason, waterlogging has become a major problem during monsoons. Only way to protect the planet is by banning and replacing it with jute and paper bags.

If you kindly look into this matter it will be very helpful.

Thanking you

Yours faithfully
