Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow:

In 1869, Bose joined Hare School and six years later he was admitted to St. Xavier's School in Calcutta. He passed the Entrance Examination and joined St. Xavier's College of Calcutta. It was here that he came in contact with Jesuit Father Eugene Lafont who played a significant role in developing his interest in natural science. Later, Bose went to England and secured admission in Christ College, Cambridge, to study Natural Science. In 1884, he received the Natural Science Tripos from the University of Cambridge and a BSc. Degree from the University of London.

From your sweet note I’ve come to know that your summer vacation will start from 15th next month. Would it be possible for you to send a part of the long vacation with our family in our village home at Mayna? I know you have never been to a village or enjoyed the natural beauty of a village. I’m quick sure that natural beauty of our village in summer will certainly attract a lover of nature like you. The murmur of flowing of the Kalaghai, beauty of the various seasonal flowers and sweet songs of birds will amuse a city-dweller like you. I know how you are fond of mangoes and Jackfruits. If you come in summer, you may taste a plenty of different varieties of mangoes at our village. In the afternoon we can fly kites. At night we will sleep on the terrace under the clear sky. It will be a lovely experience.

Please come to our village and enjoy the beauty of the village. I will be eagerly waiting for your reply.
