MY EXPERIENCE IN A HISTORICAL PLACE
Last summer, I, along with my parents, went to Murshidabad. On May 4, at about 4 a.m., we started for Murshidabad by Lalgola Express from Sealdah. After 5 hours of journey, we reached Berhampore. We put up in a hotel near Berhampore. After taking some rest, we started visiting the places of historical interest — the Motijheel Park, the Imambara, Nasirpur Palace. On the following day, we went to Khosh Bagh. Here we saw the tomb of Nawab Siraj Ud-Daulah, Lutfunnisa and Nawab Alivardi Khan. The next day, we visited the Hazarduari Palace by ‘Tanga'. Here we saw some extra ordinary paintings and an excellent collection of weapons used by the Nawabs. Then we visited the katra Masjid. Here we saw the tomb of Nawab Mursid Quli Khan. This trip will remain in my memory forever.
