Read the following passage and answer the questions given below:
On 16th January, 1941, Sisir finished his dinner early and drove to Elgin Road around 8.30 p.m. He parked the Wanderer at the back of the house. Sisir and Subhas had maintained total secrecy about the plan of escape. None of the family members knew anything except Subhas’s niece Ila and a male cousin, Dwijen. Subhas and Sisir waited until the rest of the Bose family had fallen asleep. Subhas had changed into his disguise as Muhammad Ziauddin. He was dressed in a long, brown coat, baggy shalwars and a black fez. He wore gold wire-rimmed spectacles.

My dear Govind,
Hope you are keeping well. You will be delighted to know about our grand autumnal festival, Durga Puja.
The Durga Puja is the greatest festival of the Bangalees. It is observed once a year in the autumn. The goddess Durga is the simbol of strength and power and she is worshipped along with her children Laxmi, Saraswati, Kartik, and Gonesh. The idol of Durga show her as holding in her ten hands and killing the Demon. The goddess Durga symbolises the victor of good over evil.
The festival is held for four days with great pomp and splendour. Huge pandels artistically decorated and brilliantly illuminated mark the festival. Men, women and children dressed in new clothes worship the goddess and seek her blessings. This is also the occasion to meet others and exchange good wishes and gifts. Those who live abroad come home at this time to meet their relatives and friends. It really a happy time for all. The festival ends on the fourth day when the idol immersed in rivers or ponds. On this occasion of the Durga Puja schools, colleges and offices remain closed for at least seven days. This is undoubtedly the greatest significance of this wonderful festival.
Last year, I had enjoyed the Durga Puja pleasantly. I accompanied my mother two days for her pre-puja shopping in the market. On the days of puja I wore new dresses, hopped from pandel to pandel at night all pandels were well decorated and lighted. With my parents, I followed the crowd to see the goddess. We ate variety Of sweets, Biriyani, Phuchka, Ice-cream etc. I really enjoyed the Durga Puja very much.
Please come to Kolkata during the festival season and fell the true spirit of vibrant Bengal.
